That must have been a wonderful time. I've always admired you. Every time I listen to any of your songs they bring a smile to my face and a warmness in my heart. Your smile and voice always made me feel that you were singing just for me.

I walk from 5 to 10 miles every morning... before dawn. Your music has been with me since the very beginning... and what a gift. The words that were so "on purpose" when first written ring so very true today.
Thanks for your contribution and thanks for being part of the mix that keeps this 70 year old going.

Hello there!
I am new to this site, and just wanted to say how much I loved growing up listening to Melanie. My first album was Candles in the Rain, loved that song too and also loved Alexander Beetle so very much! I played that album to death. Tonight, I sent a mate of mine, who is a disc jockey in Australia, those songs for him to play.
So, if you ever read this Melanie, don't forget about your fans "Down Under", we miss you and love you always.

Hello Melanie,
I just signed up on your site! Yesterday, I was watching your homemade video in Miami of you singing Laydown. I beleive it was shot in 1969. I was five back then, but my Mother always had the radio on and I must have memorized hundreds of songs from the late sixties through the mid seventies. It's funny, when I was in high school in 1978, I actually could not remember most of the songs from then. It goes to show you that my memory skills were at their peak around five years old. I love your music. You are in my top three with,The Mammas and the Pappas and Bob Dylan.
I live in Fort Myers, FL, do you ever get down this way? I'll be in Detroit in mid July through September also. I'd love to meet you. Thank you, Sincerely,
