2.15 AM - Just back from a great concert,
This performence was different from others,
In many ways, It was if a complete family was performing and Abi was part of it.
Bit crazy ... Bit in the depth ... a bit giving her soul to the audiance, thanks Abi Thanks Beau, thanks Melanie
She was telling that the song Smile was made after the 9-11 disaster.
I heared it with a new depth in the song.
The light was almost perfect so I made a few movies.
Was sitting in the front ;-)
Made conversations to several Melanie and Abi fans.
I know now that there are fans who visiting a lot more shows then I, I have met Michael, think one of the biggest fan, he had seen over 50 performence of Melanie!
Have seen Dia to.
Pity that she was not giving an autogram sessie, because she was tired of traveling, so I asked Beau and Abi to sign my woodstock Lp for an autogram.
Bought the Double "Live in Morecambe UK 2008" and guess what it had an autogram of Melanie on it ;-)
I heard that Peter was also on the trip?

Just got back from Dortmund. Had a wonderful time and I am so happy I had the chance to go see Melanie. She was great in good form, Abi Tucker sang with her on most of the songs and to my great surprise Melanie did (with Abi) The Good Book, never heard her do this lately, maybe once I heard her do it in the 70's.

Also Melanie had a new song and when I say NEW it is brand new. It is about having an Angel.

That is all I remember now, it is 5 AM in Amsterdam.

I woke up late but still thrilled. Sorry I missed you Johan but of course I saw our dear sweet Michael. I think Michael (& Brian) are certainly two of Melanie's biggest fans. They are everywhere.
it is a pity that Melanie can not have her moment with the fans and her usual meet & greet but did you see that tourschedule??? It is madness. Driving for hours and do a concert. She is the !ueen of endurance and stamina our dear Melanie.
