Dear Folks and Fans...
I´m still alive and hope you all also.
I´m not listen to her music for a long time...and in a strange way I feel not connected...but I believe in magic so I still buy a ticket for the show in Berlin...and I won´t believe it till I see her on stage in Berlin...and somehow it feels like visions of sugar plums are gone dance in my head...

I hope to see the Berliners at the concert
and look forward to Oct 5 ore some other messages...

that must surely be over by now? (since it's 2:35 in Germany!)
Can't wait to hear what songs she did and all the rest about her performance!

...Good Morning Folks...
thank the universe and the angles that I was able to be there.
In the beginning she comes slowly...and than she rises and it was a powerful 2 hourstatement for what she and the fan fellowship is living for. She started with Close to it all and her last encore was Extraordinary...the set list was big...some hits like Look Ma, Ruby Tuesday and usualy Brand New Key and two brand new songs...some stories alon her long way from Woodstock to here and now. And somehow I´ve had the feeling and she would say goodbye and thank you for all the years. She was telling the she will hold the treasure and that she is verry happy that she is a part of our lifes. So it seems a little melancholy between the lines. She signs and smalltalks after the show. Beau was a genoius, Abi Tucker a sweetheart with very good songs...
and Peter was with her, what a gift.

I´m still touched again...hope Sigi or Manni bring the set list much better than me. I´ve taken no photos...but Sigi does.

Dear Melanie-Lovers!
Now i will try to give you a review about this phantastic concert at Kesselhaus in Berlin,where Melanie`s Germany-Tour started yesterday.I met Sigi,Gaby and Michael and it was a very nice atmosphere and the venue was very suitable for a Melanieconcert.In 1994! i saw Melanie at the same concerthall.On my right there was a lady in the audience and i had a talk with her:She knew Melanie only from the beginning of the seventies and after that she never heard or saw anything about her.She only had one record(a best of album) and was totally surprised,when i told her,what she had missed in all those years and that Melanie never stopped singing and making records in all those years.Later during the concert this lady was totally moved by Melanie`s performance
and cried and said this would be the happiest day in her life!! Isn`t that phantastic!?
Now the concert;
As Michael wrote already,in the beginning there were Aby Tucker and Beau Jarred on the stage and did a few songs.After a short break finally Melanie and Beau appeared on stage.Melanie was in best form.Her voice was phantastic and her talking between the songs was brilliant.I don`t remember the whole setlist but i will do my very best to recall:

It was a big sucsess and she had to give three encores.The audience didn`t want to let her go.The last encore was Extraordinary.
As Michael wrote, there was a little melancholy between the lines.I felt the same.Melanie said thank you to us for all those years we supported and loved her and listened to her songs and made some of her dreams come true in her life.I had to cry.Can you imagine,i know and love Melanie since 40 years!!!.She has accompanied my whole life,she is an important part of it and in a certain way she saved my life.She will always be in my mind and my heart.
I instantly hope she will never stop to sing for us.I wish her,that the german tour will go on so successfull as it started and that she will come back!!
I wish all you melanielovers to get the chance to see and hear her live!

I just read your comment and i felt so sorry that you couldn`t be there yesterday.I really missed you at the concert.Do you remember? We met twice at Melanieconcerts ,at Quasimodo in Berlin and at Capitol in Schwerin one and a half years ago.There you sat next to me in the audience and we both together adored our Melanie.I noticed how you cared for Melanie and made it all comfortable for her during the concert.--Dia,i`m with you in this rough time for you and i wish you all the best for your treatment and the planned surgery.I KNOW! it will all be good and we will meet again at the next Melanietour.Take good care of yourself!
