No time to write (I am on the hotel computer) but I will say it was a fantastic show...Melanie's voice is just getting better and better. The venue was really cool, an "old fashioned" 3 tier concert hall with good sound. She really liked it. That's it for now. Hopefully Bob, who will be home way before me, will write something about the show. He should be very happy, he got his request for Crazy Love, (one of my faves too, so I was very happy, LOL) And one little tidbit of gossip, from the mouth of our Melanie....she did NOT sleep with Mick Jagger, but she did think that Ruby Tuesday was written about her.....

Attended the Melanie concert at the Colonial last night, all I have to say is....AMAZING!!!! This was my first Melanie show and over a handful of people asked me my age (I'm 23)! Many got a kick out of me being one of the youngest there! I suppose that is the beauty of Melanie, they just don't make music like her anymore. Thankfully Beau, Jeordie, and Leilah can represent "my generation" with true talent and love of humanity. I was truly moved by the whole night, the emotion behind the voice was incredibly captivating! I especially enjoyed Love Doesn't Have to Hurt, I Tried to Die Young, and Jammin' Alone. I was able to meet Melanie, Beau, and Peter; they were all so personable, sweet, and genuine...truly "beautiful people". Ever since I began listening to Melanie at around 10 years old I wanted to see her live...I was not disappointed. I am still in total awe as I write and listen to the Live in Morecambe UK album, by far the best night of my life. Just wanted to share it with the world!
Peace
