when you order an ipod online you have the option of having it etched on the back for free. i chose a line from "friends & co." because that was what i was feeling at the time. im not sure how many letters or words you get to etch on there.

it goes into it through a program like itunes. you load all of your melanie cds into the program and plug in your ipod and they get magically transfered. and there you have it! its really easier than it sounds.

you know youre a melanie fan when, inspired by motherhood of love, you go and see Amma to get your hug and it changed your life.

when most of your art portfolio is full of melanie portraits.

when you have a homemade melanie t-shirt for every show and season.
