bitterbadgirl Beautiful Person Registered: 09/15/04 Posts: 914 Loc: New Haven, CT	going to see Amma was the most amazing experience. we saw her in NYC and the whole place was buzzing with energy and magic. there was everything from the best homemade indian food there to dolls of Amma. I met Mira who Melanie has written about before, she is a nun who lives with Amma. She was amazingly sweet. Then when your number comes up to get your hug from Amma you line up on your knees with no shoes on until it is your turn. when you get to Amma she takes you in her arms and rocks you and chants in your ear. you immediately feel different. you feel lighter and happier. when i was walking away after my hug she noticed the scars on my arms and called me back. she said no and held and kissed my arm. it was incredible. i wish i had a chance to go again this year but i will definitely be going next summer. if any of you get the chance to go i highly recommend it. it will change your life. if you go on youtube look up "Ammas darshan" and there is a video about the experience in india. _________________________ Sometimes I feel my life has come and gone I live in this world but I'm only looking on

bitterbadgirl Beautiful Person Registered: 09/15/04 Posts: 914 Loc: New Haven, CT	kathy lynn, i will try to find pictures of most of my melanie t-shirts. my favorite is my "Melanie is my Homegirl" shirt. it is meant to look like the infamous "Jesus is my Homeboy" t-shirts. there is also one that says "melanerds do it with their skates on". another one has melanies pic with "magic lady" written under it and "princess falling star" on the back. i have so many i cant remember the rest. i'll have to take pictures of them. when i do i'll make it a new thread. _________________________ Sometimes I feel my life has come and gone I live in this world but I'm only looking on
