Discuss Melanie's appearance at P60 in Amstelveen, Netherlands!

Hello everybody,

I am finally about to see Melanie Live in Holland.
She gave me her majestic voice and many words to laugh and cry, since I heard Her for the first time in 1974.
I was 13 then .
I have lost Her for some time, but when my wife died in April this year, I have found Her music back in my heart.
She gives me so much comfort and joy.
I have met a women who lost her man last May and we support each other in our grief and we help each other to look at the bright side of life and we became buddies in grief and sadness.
Like Melanie said :"The saddest thing under the sun above is to say goodbye to the ones you love"

We both hope sincerely that she will perform the song : Do you believe, for both my Lida and her Paul.

Love from Holland and we are looking forward to next Thursday.. May she warms OUR heart and soul again.

Welcome sjef, Melanie will certainly help your heart heal....wish i was going too...have a fantastic time and don't forget to tell us how it went.

I know you will really enjoy this concert and I hope Melanie sings The Saddest Thing for you. It is such a beautiful song and I heard her sing it last weekend. I believe your soul will feel renewed after the concert. Melanie has that effect on people who love her.

I know, her voice and smile are the voice and smile of beautiful people, she makes me smile and cry at the same time.
She is a star from heaven, I hope to catch her coming Thursday. She will bring me tears, together with my girlfriend. We both hope to enjoy and that we can cope with it.

I managed to save my tears when i first saw Melanie with my dad. Then i felt sad when it was over...she came out to sing one last song..Extraordinary i had never heard it before and i was in bits...i think everyone was. Then i went to see her on my own and cried when she sang the first word of beautiful people....i must of looked such a mess by the end lol xxx

I am now listening to gardens in the City and crying.
She is so sweet, every word touches my soul in some kind of way..

Oh, MSK, that's what happened to me at Mascoutah! I thought I'd never hear her sing it live and then when she began, tears streamed down my cheeks. I just couldn't stop. It was so touching.



There was a very nice man at Mascoutah who wore a t-shirt and hat with "Gardener in the City" on it. He explained to Melanie that he had named his business after her song, and she really liked that.
